Hat Djat
Hat Djat is the fourth decan of the main decanal stars of Egyptian astrology. The decan has its heliacal rise during the week of II Akhet 1-10 in the Egyptian calendar. Its name is translated as "beginning of the crane."
Astrological meaning
The first decan of the Crane group represents laying a foundation for future success. It can literally mean the act of building a structure, such as a house, but these terms should also be considered on a more metaphysical level. Whereas the second decan, Kenmet, deals with development and growth, this is a more active form of development. You are not gestating in a warm womb, you are actively contributing to your own growth.
This may indicate the creation or development of a business, gaining education, or even a starting a relationship. As with most of the cards in this deck, exactly how Hat Djat applies to the reader will depend largely on what is already occurring in their life and where this card has landed in a given spread.
Characteristics
In ritual work, Hat Djat deals with magic impacting plants and agriculture.
On the Dendera D zodiac ceiling, this decan is depicted as a snake writhing on a table. The same ceiling gives its minerals as glass and gold.
