Khentet heret is the 11th decan of the main decanal stars of Egyptian astrology. The decan has its heliacal rise during the week of IV Akhet 11-20 in the Egyptian calendar. Its name is translated as "upper Khentet."
Divination meaning
The Egyptian Star Oracle connects this decan with the force of Chaos.
Characteristics
In ritual work, Khentet Heret is connected with the departure of the sun, specifically, with the winter solstice, when the sun will disappear for its longest period in one day. On this day, Apep has Rē concealed from the sky, engaged in battle. But Rē will win the fight and return with the help of the decans.
The Dendera D zodiac ceiling depicts this decan as a snake. The same ceiling gives its minerals as smoky quartz and gold.
