Meririm is a southern, aerial demon listed as the prince of the sixth degree of demons both in Agrippa's Three Books of Occult Philosophy and Barrett's The Magus.
Description
Agrippa describes Meririm as being "a boiling demon", and a "raging demon in the south". He also connects the demon to the "prince of the power of the air" mentioned by the Apostle Paul in Ephesians 2:2, although the name is not used.
Barrett adds chrysolite and the Sun as correspondences for the Aerial Powers, who Meririm rules over. According to the same, the Aerial Powers are opposed by the Virtues.
