Sargatanas is a brigadier general in the Hierarchy of Hell mentioned in The Grand Grimoire. He is under the command of Astaroth. The demon's character resembles a flying moth or similar insect. A.E. Waite compared the character of Sargatanas with Ophiel, the Olympic spirit of Wednesday and the planet Mercury.
