Weshati Bekati is the ninth decan of the main decanal stars of Egyptian astrology. The decan has its heliacal rise during the week of III Akhet 21-30 in the Egyptian calendar. Its name is translated as "recovered senses."

Divination meaning

In The Egyptian Star Oracle, this is an extremely favorable card. Being of service is not always easy: it is far more convenient to think about yourself first and others second. However, when we are of service to another person, organization, or our community, our life is enriched in ways we cannot predict. It is our selfless actions that send good energy rippling across the cosmos and these actions will outlive us here on earth.

Characteristics

In ritual work, Ip-Djes has the power to do both good and bad. The good includes bringing rain from the sky (as though dropping blessings), while the bad is the ability to cause bloodbaths, provoke war, carnage and violence.

The Dendera D zodiac ceiling depicts this decan as a skinny upright snake. The same ceiling gives its minerals as iron and gold. It is the only decan to have iron as its mineral.
