Ornias

Ornias is a demon found in the Testament of Solomon. He is described as a fierce demon who appears like a burning fire.

Although considered a demon, Ornias has the ability to fly with angelic wings and resides in the heavenly regions.

Origin

This demon is only known from the Testament of Solomon and appears to be unique to that text. He claims to be the offspring of the Archangel Uriel and says he and other demons ascend into the firmament and fly freely through the night sky. During his interaction with King Solomon, Uriel appeared and forced Ornias to cut stones for the construction of the temple.

astrologically, Ornias is bound to the zodiac sign of Aquarius.

Abilities

Ornias is a vampiric demon which appears at sunset and drains his victim's resources, specifically, their pay, food, and life force. He drains the life force of the young by sucking on their thumb. After several nights of these attacks, the victim becomes frail and weak.

This demon is also a protective spirit with the primary task of roaming the earth to find and strangle people who are consumed with desire for young virgins. He prefers to strangle these men while they are asleep, but when they do not fall asleep in time, Ornias will transform himself into a beautiful woman and seduce them before killing them.

He also as the power to transform himself into the form of a lion. As a low-ranking demon, he obeys the commands of all other demons and is extremely afraid of iron.
