Seret is the 20th decan of the main decanal stars of Egyptian astrology. The decan has its heliacal rise during the week of III Peret 11-20 in the Egyptian calendar. Its name is translated as "the sheep."
Divination meaning
The Egyptian Star Oracle connects this decan with melancholy or sadness.
Characteristics
According to the Naos of the Decades, the decan Seret is responsible for bringing hot, dry winds from the south. These winds are a natural phenomena, but they can carry with them unpleasant effects such as dry skin and eye problems.
The Dendera D zodiac ceiling depicts this decan as an upright snake. The same ceiling gives its minerals as dark flint and gold.
