Samigina (Hebrew: גאמיגין) is a Goetic demon. It is the fourth spirit of the 72 demons summoned by King Solomon according to the Lesser Key of Solomon. In the hierarchy of Hell, Samigina is a Great Marquis. His name is also spelled Gamigin.
He is ruled over by the Kabbalistic angel Elemiah.
General description
Samigina appears in the form of a little horse or an ass, and then into human shape will he change himself at the request of the Master. He speaks with a hoarse voice.
Abilities
He rules over 30 Legions of demons. Samigina teaches all Liberal Sciences, and gives an account of dead souls that died in sin, those who drowned in the sea, and those who dwell in purgatory. Astrologically, this spirit signifies delay.
He is a servant demon of those born April 4 - 8.
