The True Oracle of Nostradamus is a deck of oracle cards created by Travis McHenry in 2023. It is based on the 1911 Tarot de la Reyne. The deck utilizes the predictions of French seer Nostradamus and blends prophecies from his 1555 book Les Prophéties with the meanings behind of the Tarot.
Content
The True Oracle of Nostradamus consists of 58 cards divided into a Major Arcana and Minor Arcana, like the traditional Tarot. Only the aces and court cards are omitted from the schema.
The 22 cards of the Major Arcana are numbered with roman numerals and closely follow the general design and names of the Rider-Waite Tarot.
The 36 Minor Arcana cards are numbered 1 - 36 and follow the sequence of the standard Minor Arcana:
- Cards 1 - 9 = Cups 2 - 10
- Cards 10 - 18 = Wands 2 - 10
- Cards 19 - 27 = Swords 2 - 10
- Cards 28 - 36 = Pentacles 2 - 10
