Summoning sigil of Hagith

Hagith is an olympic spirit who rules over the planet Venus and 21 provinces.

According to the Arbatel of Magick (1575), Hagith ruled over the earth during the years 1410 - 1900.

Textual history

Hagith is described as an olympic spirit in several grimoires collectively called the Grimoire of Armadel.

The 1750 manuscript Regis Salomonis calls this spirit by the name "PHANTASMATOR" and provides an alternate seal for it and the other olympic spirits.

Primary texts which describe Hagith and the spirit's attributes include:

  • Arbatel of Magick (1575)
  • Regis Salomonis Septem Sigilla Planetarum (1750)
  • Magia Naturalis et Innaturalis (1849)

Abilities

Hagith is a transmuter of metals and is able to convert copper into gold in a moment and gold instantaneously into copper. He also gives faithful serving spirits.

As ruler of Venus, he governs love, sex, and beauty.

He has 4,000 legions of spirits and over every thousand he ordains a King for their appointed season.

In popular culture

"Megalith Hagith" is the name of a super rare card in the Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card game. It is depicted as a gray demonic creature with wings, horns, and a spiked tail.
