While filming the 1998 documentary ''Adventures Beyond: Witches, Ghosts and...Phantoms'', director Bob Schott captured evidence suggesting that the ghost of Bad Lord Soules is still haunting Hermitage Castle. He also speculated that a stone carving of a face might have been created in Soules' likeness.
