Remen Khery Sah is the 33rd decan of the main decanal stars of Egyptian astrology. The decan has its heliacal rise during the week of III Shemu 21-30 in the Egyptian calendar. Its name is translated as "lower arm of Sah."
Remen Khery Sah is one of Sah's arms that was cut off by Ra and flung into the night sky, becoming its own god.
Divination meaning
The Egyptian Star Oracle connects this decan with illumination or revelation.
Characteristics
In ritual work, Remen Khery Sah is described by the Naos of the Decades as “shining brightly at dawn, dispelling obscurity and bringing light upon the truth.” This decan is also able to provide protection from enemies, just like the main Sah decan.
A spell on the coffin of Mesehti states that even the elbow of this arm is imbued with power: “Sah's elbow, which is on these shoulders, is the one who flies and destroys half of the land of Punt. He breaks bones, they lament!”
This decan is depicted on the Dendera B zodiac ceiling as a serpent with the head of an ibis writhing on a stone table. Its minerals are not listed on the Dendera D zodiac, but are presumed to be quartz and gold.
