Remen Hery Sah is the 32nd decan of the main decanal stars of Egyptian astrology. The decan has its heliacal rise during the week of III Shemu 11-20 in the Egyptian calendar. Its name is translated as "upper arm of Sah."

Remen Hery Sah as depicted on the Dendera B Zodiac

Remen Hery Sah is one of Sah's arms that was cut off by Ra and flung into the night sky, becoming its own god.

Divination meaning

The Egyptian Star Oracle connects this decan with purification.

Characteristics

Papyrus Carlsberg I says that Ra is purified in the arms of his father, Osiris, a clear reference to both the arms of Orion and the submerging of Ra in the waters of the Duat, the place where the stars go to purify themselves after their period working in the night sky.

This decan is depicted on the Dendera B zodiac ceiling as a lion-headed goddess. Its minerals are listed on the Dendera D zodiac as quartz and gold.
