Aratron
Aratron or Arathron is an olympic spirit who rules over the planet Saturn and 49 provinces.
According to the Arbatel of Magick (1575), Aratron ruled over the earth from 550 BC - 60 BC.
Textual history
Aratron is described as an olympic spirit in several grimoires collectively called the Grimoire of Armadel.
The 1750 manuscript Regis Salomonis calls this spirit by the name "ARCHIATOS" and provides an alternate seal for it and the other olympic spirits.

Abilities
In addition to being ruler over Saturn, Aratron is an alchemist who commands 36,000 legions of spirits (totaling of 17,640,000 spirits). The spirits that serve under him include 49 kings, 42 princes, 35 presidents, 28 dukes, and 21 ministers, along with 14 familiars, and seven messengers.
He teaches about the creation of the souls of human beings and their true nature as well as their disposition after death. He can convert any living organism, plant or animal into stone, and that in a moment of time; he can also change coals into treasure and treasure into coals; he gives familiars and reconciles subterranean spirits.
He imparts the secret of invisibility, makes the barren fruitful and is capable of conferring long life.
The Grimoire of Armadel warns that when summoning spirits under Aratron's control, you should not keep them around you for longer than necessary. These spirits will tell you in writing whatever you desire to know.
Sigil
The seal of Aratron should be drawn in red ink.
The characters of his seal contain the secrets of the creation of mortals on earth and the ultimate goal of this act of creation. The characters of this spirit are drawn in green, black, yellow, and red colors and convey information concerning the fallen angels.
In popular culture
"Megalith Aratron" is the name of a super rare card in the Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card game. It depicts a flying, hydra-like breast.
