Berith (Hebrew: בריח) is a Goetic demon. He has other names given to him by men of later times: Beale, or Beal, and Bofry or Bolfry. It is the 28th spirit of the 72 demons summoned by King Solomon according to the Lesser Key of Solomon. In the hierarchy of Hell, Berith is a mighty, great, and terrible Duke.

He is ruled over by the Kabbalistic angel Seehiah.

General description

Berith appears in the form of a soldier with red clothing, riding upon a red horse, and having a crown of gold upon his head.

Abilities

He gives true answers concerning the past, present, and future. Astrologically, this spirit signifies catastrophe and haste. You must make use of a ring in calling him forth. He can turn all metals into gold. He can give dignities, and can confirm them to any man. He speaks with a very clear and subtle voice. He governs 26 Legions of Spirits.

He is a servant demon of those born August 2 - 6.
