Ipos (Hebrew: יפוש) is a Goetic demon from the Lesser Key of Solomon. Other spellings of this demon's name include: Aiperos, Ayperos, Ayporos, Ipes.

Ipos is ruled over by the Kabbalistic angel Ieiaiel.

General description

In the Hierarchy of Hell, Ipos is described as an Earl and powerful Prince of Hell (a Duke in some texts). Ipos has the body of an angel with the head of a lion, the tail of a hare, and the feet of a goose, less frequently in the same shape but with the body of a lion, and rarely as a vulture.

Abilities

He knows all things past, present, and future. He makes men witty and bold. He governs 36 Legions of Spirits. Astrologically, this spirit signifies voyages, especially travel by sea.

Ipos is a servant to those born: July 3 - 7.
