Cancer
Cancer (♋︎) is the fourth astrological sign in the Zodiac, originating from the constellation of Cancer. It spans from 90° to 120° celestial longitude.
In astrology, Cancer is a water sign, alongside Pisces, and Scorpio. It is one of the six negative signs, and its ruling "planet" is the Moon. Though some depictions of Cancer feature a lobster or crayfish, the sign is most often represented by the crab, based on the Karkinos.
The ruling Archangel of the Zodiac over Cancer is Muriel.

Under the tropical zodiac, the Sun transits this area between approximately June 24 and July 23, and under the sidereal zodiac, the Sun transits this area between approximately July 16 and August 17.
Characteristics
Cancers tend to be sensitive, although they do not always share their feelings openly, but this may change once they get to know someone deeply. Their desire to hide their feelings may make a Cancer seem shy or distant, but they usually are just the opposite.
They can be very forgiving, and may even be clingy in a relationship. They are drawn to stability and routine, with less desire to experiment with unfamiliar environments.
