The demon Valefor as pictured in the Occult Tarot.

Valefor (Hebrew: ואלפר) is a Goetic demon. It is the sixth spirit of the 72 demons summoned by King Solomon according to the Lesser Key of Solomon. In the hierarchy of Hell, Valefor is a mighty Duke.

He is ruled over by the Kabbalistic angel Iehahel.

General description

Valefor appears in the shape of a lion with an ass's head, bellowing. In The Grand Grimoire, Valefor is commanded by Brigadier General Sargatanas.

Abilities

He is a good familiar, but will tempt those who he serves to steal. His seal is to be worn, whether you will have him as a familiar, or not. Astrologically, this spirit signifies ambition.

Valefor governs 10 Legions of Spirits.
