Dantalion as depicted in the Occult Tarot

Dantalion (Hebrew: דנטאל) is a Goetic demon. It is the 71st spirit of the 72 demons summoned by King Solomon according to the Lesser Key of Solomon. In the hierarchy of Hell, Dantalion is a Duke.

He is ruled over by the Kabbalistic angel Haiaiel.

General description

Dantalion appears as a man with many countenances, all men's and women's faces; and he has a book in his right hand.

Abilities

His office is to teach all arts and sciences, and to declare the secret counsel of any one; for he knows the thoughts of all men and women, and can change them at his will. Astrologically, this spirit signifies infamy. He can cause love, and know the similitude of any person, and show them through a vision, no matter in what part of the world they may reside. He governs 36 legions of spirits.

Dantalion is a servant demon of those born March 5 - 9.
