The demon Gusion as depicted in the Occult Tarot.

Guison (Hebrew: גוסיון) is a Goetic demon. It is the eleventh spirit of the 72 demons summoned by King Solomon according to the Lesser Key of Solomon. In the hierarchy of Hell, Guison is a strong Duke.

He is ruled over by the Kabbalistic angel Lauiah.

General description

Guison appears like a Xenopilus, that is, one who enjoys the look of a foreigner. Around the time this edition of the Lesser Key of Solomon was written, the New World had just been discovered and many bestiaries contained fanciful descriptions of the inhabitants of these lands, such has having their heads below their shoulders. The unusual description of Guison as someone who tries to look like a foreigner suggests this demon looks like someone from a distant foreign land.

Abilities

Guison tells all things, past, present, and future, and shows the meaning and resolution of all questions you may ask. He reconciles friendships, and gives honors and dignities to anyone. Astrologically, this spirit signifies jealousy.

He rules over 40 Legions of Spirits.

He is a servant demon of those born May 9 to May 13.
