The demon Amon as pictured in The Infernal Dictionary
Amon (Hebrew: אמון) is a Goetic demon. It is the seventh spirit of the 72 demons summoned by King Solomon according to the Lesser Key of Solomon. In the hierarchy of Hell, Amon is a Marquis, great in power.
He is ruled over by the Kabbalistic angel Achaiah.
General description
Amon appears like a wolf with a serpent's tail, vomiting out of his mouth flames of fire. At the command of the magician he will take the shape of a man with dog's teeth beset in a head like a raven; or else like a man with a raven's head.
Abilities
He tells all things past and future. He creates feuds and reconciles controversies between friends. Amon governs 40 Legions of Spirits. Astrologically, this spirit signifies laziness.
