Botis (Hebrew: בוטיש) is a Goetic demon. It is the seventeenth spirit of the 72 demons summoned by King Solomon according to the Lesser Key of Solomon. In the hierarchy of Hell, Botis is a President and an Earl.

He is ruled over by the Kabbalistic angel Louiah.

General description

Botis appears at the first show in the form of an ugly viper, then at the command of the Magician, he will put on a human shape with great teeth, and two horns, carrying a bright and sharp sword in his hand.

Abilities

He tells all things past, and to come, and reconciles friends and foes. He rules over 60 Legions of Spirits. Astrologically, this spirit signifies atheism and the rejection of a universal spirit.

Botis is a servant demon of those born June 8 - 12.
