Bathin (Hebrew: באתין) is a Goetic demon. It is the 18th spirit of the 72 demons summoned by King Solomon according to the Lesser Key of Solomon. In the hierarchy of Hell, Bathin is a Duke.

He is ruled over by the Kabbalistic angel Caliel.

General description

Bathin appears like a strong man with the tail of a serpent, sitting upon a pale colored horse.

Abilities

He knows the virtues of herbs and precious stones, and can transport men suddenly from one country to another. Astrologically, this spirit signifies scandal. He rules over 30 Legions of Spirits.

Bathin is a servant demon of those born June 13 - 17.
