Cahethel (Hebrew: כהתאל) is a Kabbalistic angel. It is the eighth angel of the 72 angels of the Shem HaMephorash. In the hierarchy of angels, Cahethel is a member of the Seraphim choir. Its name means "the adored God."

Abilities

Cahethel serves to obtain God's blessing and to chase away evil spirits. Astrologically, this spirit signifies divine blessings. The person born under this angel's influence will love work, agriculture, the countryside and hunting, and will be very active in business.

Cahethel rules over the Goetic demon Barbatos.

Guardian angel

Cahethel functions as a guardian angel for people born during the following days and times:

  • Soul Guardian for those born: 2.20 a.m. to 2.40 a.m.
  • Moral Guardian for those born: March 27, June 7, August 18, October 29 and January 9.
  • Physical Guardian for those born: April 24 - 28.
