Seal of Hamaliel from the Magical Calendar

Hamaliel is the angel who rules over the zodiac sign of Virgo.

His name means "Reverence or Fear of God." The four letters of Yahweh are ההיו HHYV.

Characteristics

Hamaliel's primary office is to deliver all sinful mortals and give them the strength to resist the temptations of the Devil. According to occultist Franz Bardon, this angel gives a magician detailed information regarding chemical elements that are already known, and also elements which are currently unknown to science.

As an Archangel of the Zodiac, Hamaliel also rules over the month of August and the belly of human bodies. In the hierarchy of angels, he is in the Virtues choir. Its stone is emerald.

The Archdemon of the Zodiac under his control is Sehaliel, the demon king of Virgo.
